This Project – Sculpted in Zbrush – is one that started from a sketch, and evolved more and more into the final product you see here.

This project took roughly three weeks from sketch to final model renders, and outside of the initial sketch, was done entirely in Zbrush. I Started with basic blocking for the body shape and limbs, then basic sculpting of features, followed by definition. After the base mesh looked defind well enough, I moved on to sculpting the clothing, axe model and pedestal, then cleaned up the mesh, sculpted in the hair, and further refined detailing until I was ready to rig, pose and render. Then, I textured, set up lighting, and did my renders – touching them up for final presentation with some light touch-ups in editing software.
